Productions
Over the years we have produced many films, commercials and programmes for broadcast, corporate and sell-through. These include 6 part documentary series for ITV and Spanish television; live sports coverage for Sky and the BBC; Presentations and promotional films for Coca Cola, Ford, Opel, the British Army, Princess Yachts, Kings Sturge, Black Horse to name but a few. More locally, we have produced a portfolio of films for the University of Cornwall, the University of Plymouth, China Fleet Country Club, the Ministry of Defence and the Diocese of Truro. We are accomplished in the design and story-boarding of television commercials and short-form promotional videos. 'Viva vino' Series
Recently completed and broadcast early this year, a 6 part series on wine production in Spain. ‘VIVA VINO’, presented by wine writer and critic Colin Harkness, is a sumptuous set of programmes, celebrating the grandeur of the Spanish countryside, demonstrating high-tech versus traditional wine production techniques, and sampling gorgeous Spanish wines and food. Series Two is in the planning stages for production later this year.
The Army
Over the past two years we have produced two recruitment films for the British Army. Our film for the Rifles Regiment was highly acclaimed for its storyline and thought-provoking script. The more recent film for the Yorkshire Regiment also gained admiration and recognition for its innovative production style.
China Fleet Country Club
We have recently finished two films for the China Fleet Country Club to showcase their extensive golf and leisure facilities to potential members and corporate client, and also as a wedding venue.
The Real England
As an ongoing and long-term project we’ve been producing a series of films about the counties of England, entitled The Real England. These films, each lasting around an hour, encapsulate all that is spectacular and enchanting about each county. So far we have produced The Real Cornwall (with The Real Cornwall Re-visited currently in production), The Real Devon, The Real Somerset, The Real Dorset, The Real Wiltshire, The Real Gloucestershire and The Real Northants. The Real Oxfordshire is in post-production and due for release shortly. All of these films can be purchased on DVD by contacting us.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan
These enchanted gardens, hidden in a beautiful valley near St Austell, have long been a popular venue for people in the know. We were asked to produce several films for them, including ‘Heligan, Past, Present and Future’ - a comprehensive account of the history of the gardens, how they were discovered and lovingly brought back life. ‘Heligan, History, Mystery and Magic’ takes us further along the path of discovery, exploring the unique character of the gardens. Plymouth University
The Company of Designers, a well-established design company in Plymouth have been working with Free Range Television for over 20 years on a wide variety of promotional films and Television Commercials. This Film for the University of Plymouth business school brings together our combined talents to produced a film that is both entertaining and informative.
